Findochty 45 nm Limited access. Good shelter. Pontoons. Entrance difficult in strong, NW &N.
Lossiemouth 34nm Limited access. Good shelter. Pontoons. Entrance difficult in strong E&SE.
Burghead 27 nm Limited access. Good shelter. Alongside. Entrance difficult in strong W.
Findhorn 22 nm Limited access. Good shelter. Anchor. Entrance difficult in strong N&E.
Nairn 14 nm Limited access. Good shelter. Pontoons. Entrance difficult in strong NE.
Inverness Marina 0 All tides. Good shelter.Pontoons and all facilities.
Fortrose 6nm All tides. Visitor moorings. Exposed W, SW &S.
Cromarty 17 nm All tides. Limited shelter in harbour, exposed at anchor. Visitor mooring or anchor west of harbour, v.small pontoon in harbour. Exposed W, N&NW.
Invergordon 21 nm All tides. Good shelter in harbour, exposed at anchor W, S&E. Visitor mooring or anchor off yacht club, alongside in small harbour.
Portmahomack 31 nm Limited access. Anchor. Exposed W&NW.
Helmsdale 41 nm Limited Access. Good shelter. Small pontoon or alongside. Entrance difficult in strong E, SE &S.
Lybster 57 nm Limited access. Good shelter. Alongside. Entrance difficult in strong SE.
Wick 68 nm All tides. Good shelter. Pontoons. Entrance difficult in strong SE. If going to Scapa Flow leave 3hrs before HW at Duncansby.

There are other harbours but they either mostly dry or are mainly for commercial vessels.
